Far Apart

My sincerest thank you goes to Jola Borusiewicz for composing music to the lyrics I wrote about us. I would also like to thank Leszek Jarmuła, for his willingness and contribution in this project. I met with Jola in the summer of 2012 in Stockholm. Our meeting made an incredible impact on me. Jola opened my eyes towards life, people, and the world around us. She encouraged my creative work and passions and taught me how to recognize myself and look into the future with promise and faith. Thank you very much for this!

When I wrote the lyrics to Far Apart for Jola on August 11, 2013, I wasn’t sure whether she would compose music to my words. She did so immediately – the following day! Far Apart is here for everyone. I expect and hope that the content of this song will break certain traditions and stereotypes as well as the barriers that people put themselves into, complicating their own relationships. True friendships have no limits.

I am extremely happy with the creation of this song and music video.

Far Apart is a description/summary of my novella revolving around an unusual relationship, which affects a young man in his coming of age and purpose in life. The novella is written in English, (I live in Toronto) and I hope that after it is published in Canada, Polish publishing houses will find interest in it. The content focuses around the fate of the protagonist, a young Pole, looking for a meaning in his life while fighting for everyday life overseas, yet always dreaming and yearning for Europe.
